I feel that i wouldn't be the guy holding the ed cloth...I'm the type of person whos afrais of everything, and this would definetly be one thing that i am scared of.
i feel horrified! the bull is already suffering from being caged up and now adding sticks on it's back is just plain wrong; talk about adding insult to injury.
I think it is animal abuse to have those sticks stuck into the bulls back. I do not even see a point for having them in the bulls back. However this man is very brave to step in the arena with this bull.
well...the bull has been poked and stabbed all before this, and the funny thing is, the bull doesn't always lose. Dumb matador. It remindsme of a joke i heard once about this guy who...well i better not.
Brave people doing cruel things to animals isn't good sight to see. I know it's tradition to some, but to others it can be hard to comprehend some facts about this bullfighting culture.
CRAZY PEOPLE!!! Oh God. It is incredible how people are willing to lose their lives over stupidity! ;( I mean come on..bulls are crazy and people should just stay out of bulls' way. People who get involved with stunts like these deserve what ever repercussions may occur. :D
great comments. He's in danger, but he is also a professional. The bulls live wonderful lives compared to most of their cattle bretheren...and then they die a violent death, so all of the comments here could be valid. I have stood in a ring, fifteen feet from a bull like this, with a big red cape...he snorted and pawed the ground, and I ran away. These are big beasts!
This matador reminds me of my town in Guadalajara Mexico. It's seems like fun experience to bull ride and see danger up close and in person. Personally, I do enjoy everything that has to do with my heritage and this matador reminded my of how i miss my town.
Where i use to live, we had this stadium (bull-ring) specially for this sport. It was called "La Plaza de Toros". I sort of grew up watching bull fights, n i have seen some bullfighters get injured, but for the most part they dont, becuase they know what they are doing.
I want to see this in person but that bull is awful close to that guy's leg!!
ReplyDeleteThese guys are crazy going one on one with a bull. But to put sticks into the bull, that isnt right. It hurts to see that, but what can we do?

ReplyDeletethere is a thin line between sport and cruelty
ReplyDeleteI would not be able to do this because I would be afraid that the bull will hurt me.
