So yea, could sleep so checked out the blog lol :)ahahaha! i totally believe that! My friend last year ran into a pole while walking on the side walk it was hilarious but sometimes it could be serious and for those times it wouldnt be hilarious. People just need to pay attention more and know they surroundings or use their peripheral vision while walking or not walk and text case closed.
It's funny what this world has come to. Especailly now that we everyone in this world is some what obessed with texting and that texting has becoming the most important thing in today's society. I guess it's a good thing that precautions are being made now that texting is becoming dangerous.
It does not surprise me at all. I for one do the samething. It's hard to put down the phone for just a few minutes, but some people cant wait to read that email or text message that they just received. As time goes on, I am sure people will contine to hurt themselves because technology will continue to advance, thus causing more people to become more occupied on other things.
haha that is very funny. It is very ridiculous what our world has come to. What is so hard now days to simply call a person and have a 3 minute phone call instead of having a pointless conversation over text messages? Texting can be very exciting at times, but many people rely on their phone too much and can't seem to live without their phone.
This is very funny. The fact that people walk and text without looking up every once and a while amazes me. If people would just call that person it would be so much easier to pay attention while walking and prevent these emergency room visits.
Seeing someone running into a pole has to be very sad to witness. But wouldn't it be more funnier if there was a pie on the pole rather than padding? So other people would laugh at your mistake? HAHAHA
But 16,000 accidents over the year? Come on people...I would be laughing to find out if our government was even thinking of coming up with a law saying "Don't text while walking."
Well since it has happened to some people I know, I can't help but laugh. Padding or not, it's funny. I am actually one of the few who can multi-task. I haven't actually ran into anything yet.
Oh wow! That is funny! I never thought there would be a day where the poles would be padded. People should watch where they are going. Texting has become a big part of our society, and I don't think it will go away soon. padding on the poles might not be a bad idea.
That's an incredibly high number of emergency room visits due to texting while driving. It really puts into perspective what you should be doing while your driving.
Ha idiots!!! Im telling the world is revolving around texting. That is so hilarious!! :D Its funny how people are so into their "so important I cant look up to see what Im about to hit conversation"!!!! Be careful....with the poles
Acctually this is totally true. When you drive into the school many people are texting on their phone mostly talking. We sometimes do it but when we see others doing it we think they are should know where they are walking. lol
hahaha it is funny how deep people can get into texting and in result of that run into something. I have seen this happen many times and it never fails to make me laugh.
I believe this! haha. I have dodged many obstacles while texting, all were close calls. When you read a message it is so hard to think about anything else, especially if it is a really good message. You are so deep in thought then BAM! Before you know it, the sudden pain rushes through your body. Usually you learn after a couple times but 16,000 trips to the emergency room? We might have a major problem here.
ha i thin thats funny that people are so caught up in texting that they block out the world around them. A pole could be a car or something more serious. I think that people need to pay attention to where there walking so they don't have to put padded comfort on poles.
I don't get it. I walk and text all the time, and I never hit anything. Its not that hard to look up every now and then to make sure nothing is in front of you. If you need to stop moving in order to text then the people behind you will get very annoyed.
Well that should teach everyone a lesson of how you shouldn't walk and text at the same time unless your with someone who will make you lift up your head. I don't think they should pad poles though. It gives people an excuse to walk and text becasue they know they won't get hurt.

ReplyDeleteIt definetly had to be the new technology that causes accidents like having to report to the hospital.
ReplyDeleteWow this is funny. That's a pretty big number which shows that we really do need to focus on texting much less than what we do.
